Ephraim Wasse, is an Ethiopian- Israeli artist, photographer, activist, and curator, was born in Israel in 1986 to Ethiopian parents who immigrated during Operation Moses.

His multidisciplinary work, rooted in photography but expanding to video and digital media, explores themes of identity, belonging, and heritage.

Drawing from his personal experiences growing up in a peripheral community, Wasse's art offers sharp social and cultural critiques, focusing on family life and Ethiopian heritage.

A significant part of his work addresses his personal struggle with chest dysmorphia, transforming this experience into powerful artistic expression that engages audiences on issues of body image and self-acceptance.

His work has been widely exhibited, and he co-founded the "Beta" collective to empower Ethiopian-Israeli artists.

Wasse's practice blends art and activism, creating dialogues that bridge art and society.
